Lock to Lock Ride 2017

Great for the kids!

25th Annual
LOCK TO LOCK RIDE
Sunday, May 21st 2:00pm

Fun for all!

Grab your bike and celebrate National Bike Month at the 25th Annual Lock to Lock Ride!
Ride 37 or 18.5 miles along the scenic Historic Augusta Canal Area on hard packed dirt and asphalt roads with no hills.  It's the perfect ride for all of your family and friends!
The route starts at the Savannah Rapid Pavilion and you'll ride to the New Lock and Dam, with rest stops along the way serving Powerade and snacks to keep you going.  We will also have roaming bike support provided by SORBA-CSRA's MTB Patrol should rider assistance be needed.  Once at the New Lock and Dam, there will be a delicious meal by Fireside Outdoor Kitchens & Grills, and a raffle with some great prizes.  After grabbing a bite to eat, it's back up to the Savannah Rapids Pavilion as you watch the beautiful sunset over the Augusta Canal.  And yes, the ever popular Sno-Cone stop will be in place on the ride back at the Augusta Commons.  Wheel Movement, CSRA will also be at the ride finish handing out Yoo-Hoo for the 37 milers, the perfect recovery drink!
All pre-registrants receive a commemorative Lock to Lock T-Shirt and the first 200 people to sign in on event day will receive a Specialized Lock to Lock Ride water bottle
Sign up now and join the fun!

"I just wanted to take a minute to let you know how much we enjoyed this year’s Lock to Lock ride.  We really felt like we could take our time, relax, and enjoy the ride.  The food was wonderful and the little extra touches like the sno-cones and cookies at the rest stops were welcome additions.  Thanks so much!"

"I'd like to compliment you and the entire crew for an outstanding ride.  It was a great route and the food was very enjoyable.  I was impressed with the generous gifts at the raffle and I'm looking forward to next year's ride!"
